Notes THINK OUTSIDE THE BUD

Watching Game 2 of the NBA finals, and there was a commercial for Taco Bell, thought they said “Think outside the bud”, instead of “Think outside the bun.”. Thus the subject heading.

Apologies to all the Auto Buds fans out there for a lack of updates on the site recently, and if it takes awhile for submissions to get posted. The Auto Buds Team has been very busy, and even lazier. Hoping to get some new buds up soon. Thanks for all the submissions, keep them coming!

In the meantime, please enjoy this pair of toy cars seen while walking my dog with my son, who thought they were auto buds.

Being a great dad, I tenderly corrected him. Being an even greater dad, I then made him put a thumbs down next to the cars. There’s no such thing as nepotism here at Auto Buds. For that matter, here’s another set he thought were buds:

Matching cars from businesses, or mail trucks, or city trucks, etc., do not count. Son, when you are old enough to read and work a computer and look up this site and see that I did not post your auto buds submissions, I am willing to take the chance that you will hate me. Because years from that moment, I know you will look back and understand, and will know that my flat out, cold rejection of your auto buds made you a better, smarter, stronger person. If for some reason you do not realize this, and Auto Buds destroys our relationship, so be it. That’s just a chance I’m going to have to take. Life isn’t fair. And neither is Auto Buds. Now please lose, Heat (no offense to our Miami based Auto Buds fans).
